Modern Media Leadership Institute trains professionals in social media skills, strategy and management.
There are currently more than 30 distinct social media job titles in the workforce landscape. These job titles encompass more than 120 digital and social media skills (competencies). And many "traditional" job titles and management functions are being expanded to include social and digital media responsibilities.
MMLI training is squarely aimed at providing professionals the digital and social media workforce skillsets needed to excel.
We want to help people gain the media-based expertise they need for their own "skills security" as well as the competencies to reshape their organizations into more connected, savvy, 21st century enterprises.
MMLI offers a variety of training and development skills-based learning programs:
- professional training workshops and retreats
- executive briefings
- ad hoc learning events
- organizational development programs
We partner with universities, government agencies, professional associations and other learning-focused organizations to foster modern media literacy. We advocate for public policies that promote digital literacy in the workforce and education.

Hi, Denise. Thanks for stopping by and posting your question.
Not knowing how experienced you are, I would say you might want to focus on Social Media Strategy, Social Media Marketing and Social Media Measurement. These are what I would call "the staples" after you are familiar with the basics. They focus more the on the issues related to managing social media.
I'd be happy to discuss it further with you over email or phone to give you a more targeted answer.
