One-day workshop
This one-day workshop course will give you the skills to take charge of your "information ecosystem." You will focus on developing specific personal information management skills. You'll be actively using Web 2.0 tools and technologies, email techniques and developing new information handling habits to cope with the "river of content" we are expected to consume and respond to in our modern day. You will tackle aggregating and streamlining content, and developing rules and filters for messages and real time "news streams." The instructor will present insights for dealing with multitasking and provide you with techniques to maintain your productivity.
The course will also highlight key organizational technologies and operational changes to assist the organization in dealing more effectively with the modern flow of information.
