Two-day workshop
This two-day workshop immerses you in social media and is designed to give you a broad introduction to the social web. The workshop will get you active in using some of the most popular social media tools, to get you ready to create a social media strategy in your enterprise, and to tackle some tactical social media activities. It starts with defining the market shifts that make the social web important to your business and explores how organizations are using the social web successfully. You will then be immersed in experiencing a variety of tools that allow you to participate in the key activities of social media: listening, connecting, contributing, communicating, community, and measuring.
You
will have a computer for exploring the social web and for hands-on
learning and application of the tools. You will leave the workshop with
a solid basic understanding of social media / Web 2.0 concepts, key
skills for implementing social web initiatives and knowing where to
start in building a strategy.
