Workshop Frame-of-mind: The social web is impacting organizations of every kind globally - even if not actively engaged in social media. The market forces of Web 2.0 are impacting the competitive landscape and business processes. In February of 2008, BusinessWeek Online quietly updated an earlier cover story on blogging to read, "Social media will change your business -“ whatever business you are in." Organizations that can capitalize on social media channels and behaviors will be competitive winners. The challenge is to build cohesive strategies that integrate social media into sound business practices.
