We do periodcially schedule social media training sessions and "weekend retreats" specifically geared to non-profit organizations, fundraising and advocacy.
Non-Profit Fellowships
The Gerard Seat
Modern Media Leadership Institute provides a tuition fellowship - the Gerard Seat - to an eligible non-profit organization or NGO for each of our retreats, classes or workshops.
If you are directly affiliated with a U.S. tax-exempt non-profit organization or an international NGO and wish to attend any of our programs, please consider applying for the MMLI Gerard Seat.
It is easy to apply and we require only basic information. Use our Gerard Seat Application and when you do be prepared to provide us with this information:
- your name
- your organization
- your organization's web site URL
- your contact information
- your organizations social media URLs, if any
- the specific program you are interested in attending
- how you believe social media will help your organization
The Gerard Seat fellowship covers 100% of tuition costs, but please keep in mind if you are granted a fellowship, you will be responsible for your travel and accommodations costs.
Modern Media Leadership Institute grants fellowships as a community service. Our decision is influenced by the order in which we recieve applications (by date) for each program location or date and the needs of the individual organization. We may call you to discuss your application prior to offering you a fellowship.
If your application is chosen, you will be invited to accept a fellowship by email. We will ask that you confirm your acceptance within a short period, so it is important to use an email address that is monitored regularly.
